Meet Heather

Heather Hime - Trainer - Heather enjoys helping other people learn more about their dogs. She is a firm believer that it is important to teach your dogs obedience and be a strong leader in order to make their lifestyles work with ours. Simply stated, she believes there is a true culture clash when it comes to dogs living in our world. The things they naturally do (barking, chewing, digging etc...) are not things that are always acceptable in our culture.

Heather has gone through training with Animal Behavior College as well as Petco's Canine Education Program and trained along side some local trainers in the twin cities. Her goal is to help you understand your pets and help them learn the things they need in order to live peacefully in our culture. Heather has studied, observed, and used several different training methods of which her favorite is using positive reinforcement methods and clicker training. She believes that with positive training you can achieve the success you want and have a very special bond with your dog.
