We want to be more than just a business (heck, sometimes I forget we are a business), we want to be a community of pet lovers. Yesterday everyone came to my help when I was working on finding the best vacuum for pet hair at our house and today everyone is helping our customer, Chuck, with advice on the Thunder Shirt. If you want to be part of the fun, make sure you are our facebook friend and if you ever need help with anything, just send me an email. If I can help, I will… Otherwise I will pose it to our PPP community!
Have a good night!

Today I spent most of the day organizing and cleaning stuff that our customers never see. For example we put a new couch in our staff break room. Out staff work hard and they deserve a great room where they can take it easy for a few minutes. We also installed some new shelving in our food prep area and one of our storage areas.
Today we started a new feature on our Facebook page called Puddin’s Pick. Each week Puddin’ (Our new boston terrier model in the lobby) will feature one our collars. If you purchase the collar Puddin’ is wearing, we will take 20% off.
Have a good day!
The big news today is that Brett Favre is coming back to the Minnesota Vikings and our Brett Favre contest is back on. If you get Brett to stop into our lobby and mention you name you get a 20 day package for doggy daycare. If he stops in and mentions your name while wearing a Minnesota Vikings OR Green Bay Packers jersey, you will get a 30 day package. When we announced this contest on our Facebook page earlier today, Mike (one of our customers) asked what happens if he comes in with his walker? Well, if that happens you will get a free bath for your pooch in addition to the other prizes! Have fun!
Today Trycia was taking more pictures at doggy daycare and they are all in the August Photo Gallery. I think one of my favorites was with Frost (white German Shepard) and Cody (Golden Retriever) laying in one of the pools together!
Have a good night.

Today we were having some work done in the play areas, so we had to juggle some of the doggy daycare dogs around. We had a great group of dogs playing in our training room which allowed us to put the big dogs in where the little dogs normally are. I know this sounds confusing, but we really have everything planned out. One of the challenges we always run into is how to get things done in the play areas, because we always have dogs in there. So for a few hours today, had everyone moved around A big thanks to the dogs for being so easy going. I actually think that the dogs enjoyed being in a new room, with some different play equipment.
Are you our fan on Facebook? If you are, you know about the contest we started to give away a day of daycare tomorrow.
Harbor is one of the regular faces around doggy daycare! Today she was in our Waggers Way room because she was tired and wanted to rest more, but she normally hangs out with the bigger dogs. The other day, I was talking to Harbors mom, and she was talking about how she is addicted to our facebook fan page! Who would have thought??!! Anyway, Harbors parents found their house based on where a daycare was. They know how important it is for Harbor to get her energy out and they wanted to live close!
Have a good night!

Sherman, who is one of our doggy daycare dogs, is all ready for the holidays. We trimmed Sherman’s nails this afternoon and thought he would look good with an elf hat. He surprised us with how long he kept it on! Go Sherman!
Jess, one of our first employees, logged on to our Facebook page and shared a cute holiday video with us.
Speaking of employees…. The PPP holiday party is this Sunday night, and late pickup will not be available (we close at 6 on Sundays).
Have a good night!

Roxy really, really, really loves the snow. From the minute it starts snowing she keeps wanting to go outside watch it fall. Today, we asked on our facebook fan page how many of your dogs love the snow and everyone that responded said that their pooch enjoyed it. The biggest shock was Roxy the yorkie, who is only 5 pounds and enjoys snow.
On snow days when the traffic is really bad, we waive our late pickup charge because we want you to drive safe and not rush to pick up your pooch. We do have people around until 8:30pm for pick up tonight. Also, if the steps outside our building are hard for you, please call us and we will run your pooch out to you, we don’t want anyone falling!
Have a good night and enjoy our first snowfall!

This afternoon at dog daycare we had “snuggle time” on the couch. It all started when Trycia sat down on the couch and everyone wanted to sit on her lap. After about 20 minutes Trycia got up and let the dogs have the whole couch. Then Naiya (Golden Retriever) and Lola (Olde English Bulldog puppy) snuggled up on one side.
Are you one of our Facebook friends? Trycia just added a bunch of pictures.
Have a good night.
