Windy, Chilly.. Welcome to Fall

Schatzie at doggy Daycare Brrr.. It is finally October, I just checked the weather and it should be a great weekend for our doggy halloween party!  Today, when our employees got to the doggy daycare called me right away to say that one of the fence panels in our outside area had blown down.  I instantally called our fence company, and within 1 hour they were out getting everything fixed.  With almost 60 MPH winds (which are hurricane strength), I am glad that it was the only damage.  Many of our customers came in talking about how they did not have power!  So that was the big excitement at the PPP today!

Oh, I need to post a picture of one of the funniest costumes that we were working on today!  Simon the bulldog will be a star on the FOX 9 news this Friday and we were perfecting his costume.  I don't want to ruin the surprise, so stay tuned for a picture soon.

Hope you have a good night!

Back and on on the news!

Wow, what a fun weekend in Chicago.  Trycia and I went to a pet industry convention in Chicago and I was representing Topline Canine (the shampoo we use when we do grooming).  We got to meet some really cool people and other daycare owners.  We shared lots of ideas with daycares from all over the country!  There were lots of people that were wanting to start a doggy daycare, and they think you can just make a building look pretty and make a great logo and you will be a huge success.  Most future daycare owners don't understand the amount of work, education and hands on pack management skills that need to be put into running a successful business. Over the weekend, did you happen to catch our really quick mention on the Fox 9 news with Todd Walker?  Check it out below.

Nap time on the new bed

Ember and Weenie love the new red beds that we just picked up.  Both dogs come for doggie daycare 3 times a week and love spending some time on the bed together. Some great news from the weekend events.  The food drive we did for the Pet Project raised over 10,000 pounds of food and over $800 in cash.  The Minnesota boxer rescue raised $1000.  We were so proud to be part of both events, and are amazed with the turnout!  If you want to see some of the pictures, Modern Life Photo put them on their blog.

This wednesday, MA Rosco from the FOX 9 morning news will air her feature on DOGA which was shot at Pampered Pooch Playground.  Don't worry, if you can't watch it, we will have all the clips on our website.  Speaking of Doga, the next session is this Saturday morning, details are on our events page.

Have a great night.
