Twin Cities Pride

This was the 4th year that Pampered Pooch Playground was at the Twin Cities Pride Festival and I personally think it was our most fun year!  We had our doggy lounge which was complete with our doggy bar, our cool new Minnepawpolis shirts, and a fun staff that really wanted to be there! Seriously, it was such a grew time and loved seeing all of our customers stopping over.  We had our good friend Amber from Modern Life Photo at our booth taking pictures of people and their dogs.  You can see and download the pictures she took on her website.  Thanks again for making it such a fun and successful event!

5K9 Recap

This morning was the Home For Life 5K9 Race in St Paul. One might think, why the heck did we sponsor a race in St Paul. They are a great rescue and really love helping them out, and St Paul really is not THAT far away. Pampered Pooch Playground and Bubbly Paws shared a booth at the finish line and watched all the dogs and owners cross the line. All the dogs did great and it was great seeing so many of our customers having fun with their pooch. Amber from Modern Life Photo was there taking pictures which we will put the link up to very soon.

In the picture, the 3 black labs all come to doggy daycare (Dakota, Perazzi and Benelli) and did great running.

Have a good holiday weekend. Our hotel is full and all the dogs spending the night are having lots of fun playing today!

School Picture Day

Komo the Pitt Bull Yesterday was doggy school picture day.  Our photographer friends from Modern Life Photography stopped in and snapped pictures, and they turned out AMAZING!  We all had so much fun with the dogs while they were having their pictures taken.  You can see more of the pictures on the Modern Life Photography blog.  This was so much fun, that we will be doing it again!

Have a good night.

Santa Paws

Roxy visits santa in Minneapolis Today our training room was taken over by the Minnesota Boxer Rescue for Santa Paws.  Our friends Matt and Amber from Modern Life Photo (and Pampered Pooch Playground customers) were snapping some amazing pictures of the dogs with santa!  The best part is all the money raised goes to the Minnesota Boxer Rescue.  Wow, I am still shocked at the number of dogs that came out!  Impressive!  Have a good night.

Nap time on the new bed

Ember and Weenie love the new red beds that we just picked up.  Both dogs come for doggie daycare 3 times a week and love spending some time on the bed together. Some great news from the weekend events.  The food drive we did for the Pet Project raised over 10,000 pounds of food and over $800 in cash.  The Minnesota boxer rescue raised $1000.  We were so proud to be part of both events, and are amazed with the turnout!  If you want to see some of the pictures, Modern Life Photo put them on their blog.

This wednesday, MA Rosco from the FOX 9 morning news will air her feature on DOGA which was shot at Pampered Pooch Playground.  Don't worry, if you can't watch it, we will have all the clips on our website.  Speaking of Doga, the next session is this Saturday morning, details are on our events page.

Looking for a fun holiday website, check out the Singing Ugly Dog website.

Have a great night.

Thanks to everyone that came out to both locations of pictures with Santa.  Both places were a HUGE success and we can't thank everyone enough.  Trycia and I were at the Fetch Delivers location  and, it was great to see lots of our dogs show up and we collected lots of dog food and money for the Pet Project. Our booth was right next to Sarah Beth Photography and we took a break and took a picture ;).  Also in the picture is Luk, who is in my arms, and he belongs to Ali from Sidewalk Dog. One highlight was when Fletcher, one of our doggy daycare dogs (aka @fletchmasterp on twitter) donated a huge supply of dog food that his parents won in an essay contest.   At the Pampered Pooch Playground Matt and Amber from Modern Life Photo were taking pictures for the Boxer Rescue.  Matt texted me about an hour after the event started and said that he was amazed with the turnout! Later in the day, Matt told me that they raised over $1000 for the boxer rescue, and this was the biggest turnout that they have ever had.  We are so excited to have been part of it, and can't wait for next year!  Oh, Roxy had to show up and get her picture taken!!

Have a doog weekend!
