The Twin Cities Puppy Bowl is Back!

Twin Cities Puppy Bowl logoGet ready Twin Cities.  One of my favorite events of the year is back and bigger than ever; the Twin Cities Puppy Bowl!  Last Year Pampered Pooch Playground was a main sponsor of the event, and this year we have moved aside, and let our other business, Bubbly Paws Dog Wash sponsor it.  Also part of the event are Sarah Beth PhotographySidewalk Dog and Just Paws Training.  We will be filming all the puppy cuteness this weekend and it will be released online very soon!  Look for some pictures this weekend from the filming!  Most of the puppies featured in the Twin Cities Puppy Bowl are available for adoption from local rescues.  As we always talk about, one of the core values of Pampered Pooch Playground is to give back to the community in which we are located and this is just one way that we do it.  If you want to watch some of the puppy cuteness from last year, you can watch the video on the Twin Cities Puppy Bowl website. Have a good night!

The Puppy Bowl

Today we had so many puppies at doggy daycare!  Lilly and Maggie are best friends, they are always near one another and today they spent the day hanging out in the "Zen Den". Speaking of puppies, the Twin Cities Puppy Bowl is now online.  I worked hard editing the video, so I hope you enjoy watching it!

Have a great night.

Whose ball is it!

Today in the "Zen Den", Alex, one of our staff members took this picture of Cosi (french bulldog) and Brandi (black lab) playing with the ball. Who said that big and small dogs can't get along??!!?? On another note, we are thinking about renaming the "Zen Den", becuse the name makes it sound like none of the dogs play.  In reality the "Zen Den" is very lively and the only room that we bring out toys and balls.   We don't use toys in the other rooms during doggy daycare because of the possession problems that are created over toys, and honestly we don't want to be breaking up fights all day over balls.  So sometimes we will put the dogs that we know enjoy playing with balls and toys into the "Zen Den"  where they can play with them.  Both Cosi and Brandi had a great time in there today. Sorry to cut this short, but I have been editing video for the Twin Cities Puppy Bowl and my eyes are tired of looking at the computer screen.

Have a good night.

The Twin Cities Puppy Bowl

You might have heard us talking about the Twin Cities Puppy Bowl which is a group effort between PPP, Sarah Beth Photography, Sidewalk Dog and Fetch Delivers.  The concept is simple, reach out to local dog rescues and features puppies that are up for adoption.  This past Saturday, we shot the video for the puppy bowl and the full length version will be out next Monday (2/1/10).  Until then, enjoy this quick promo that I put together.  You can visit the Twin Cities Puppy Bowl website at anytime.

One busy day at the PPP Spa!

We are also very busy getting ready for the Twin Cities Puppy Bowl.  Details will be out soon, but this will be something you will not want to miss.  You can join the fan page on Facebook. Our spa and grooming department was really busy today.  Tami groomed a bunch of dogs today and they all looked amazing.  Addi was one of the westies that went home looking great! More information on our spa and grooming services is available on our website.

Have a good night.

We're a Leader

Tank is one of the regular faces who boards in our hotel.  Tank might be one of the older guys, but he enjoys being around the smaller dogs and likes to watch them play. There are many doggy daycares that look at our business model and want to know how we do things.  There is a new dog daycare that is opening in Chicago, and they wanted me to come in and install their webcams.  I love to help out a new business, and really enjoy helping them out, plus it is always fun to see other dog daycares and how they do things.  So this weekend I am in Chicago installing webcams.

Oh, we have something really cool in the works for the Super Bowl, we are working on our own version of the Twin Cities Puppy Bowl.  The website is not up yet, but you can become a fan on facebook.

Have a good weekend!
