Dog Daycare

Why leave your canine companion home alone when they can enjoy an exciting day at dog daycare instead?

Give Your Dog an Amazing Day

Dog daycare isn’t just a boredom buster for your canine companion. It also provides physical exercise and mental stimulation while helping your pup build confidence and make new friends. Here at Pampered Pooch Playground, we offer the best dog daycare in St. Louis Park and are here to give your furry friend the best day ever! Meet and Greet days are required to utilize services.

Our dog care specialists closely monitor guests at all times to make sure everyone is having a ball — and so you can trust that your canine companion is in excellent hands.

With three indoor, temperature-controlled rooms with more than 10,000 square feet of space, there’s plenty of room for your dog to romp and play. Plus, we have a 3,500-square-foot outdoor play area. Our staff takes the time to get to know each guest and puts them into groups based on their size and play style. All play areas are closely supervised at all times. And in addition to keeping a close eye on your furry friend, staff members will give your precious pup plenty of personal attention and belly rubs.

Thanks to our live webcams, you can keep an eye on the action, too. Spots fill up fast, so be sure to make your pet’s reservation as soon as possible. We wouldn’t want them to miss out on a single moment of the fun!

We take the safety of the pets in our care very seriously, so each dog will be evaluated on their first day to ensure that they are a good fit for Daycare.

The Importance of Socialization

Proper socialization with other dogs and other humans is critical to having a happy, healthy, and well-adjusted pet. With so many people spending more time at home in 2020, your furry family member may now be home alone for long periods of the day for the first time in a while, and the stress of solitude may cause anti-social habits such as destructive chewing, persistent digging, excessive barking, or other signs of separation anxiety. Pets may also show signs of stress such as drooling, attempts to escape, and pacing.

If your pet is suffering from separation anxiety or simply the boredom of home isolation after many months of company, bring them to daycare with us! Daycare provides your loved one with the pack environment they are accustomed to, creating a trusted second home for your pet while you are away. Bringing your pup to daycare with us provides all the physical, mental, and social exercise your dog needs. Give us a call to learn more about the socialization benefits of daycare.

Reservations

Reservations are required, and all daycare guests must be dropped off by noon. The first time your dog visits, you will need to provide proof of Rabies, Bordetella, and DHPP vaccinations. Your dog must also be current on flea and tick preventatives and have a negative fecal exam yearly.

All daycare cancellations must be made by 4 pm the day before your pet’s stay. If a reservation is not canceled by 4 pm, you will be charged the full price for daycare, or a day will be subtracted from your package.

Dog resting

Importance of Resting

Routine rest time during daycare is not only important to the health of your pet, but also for the safety of the entire pack. Resting refers to the downtime in between playtimes during daycare. This gives your pet a chance to recuperate so they do not exhaust themselves before their visit comes to an end, which is especially important for our full day guests. Additionally, resting significantly decreases the chances of injuries within the pack. Just like with humans, rest allows for both mental and physical recovery, for their overall health and wellbeing.
